Re: shamasehar

Caleb says:  "We were probably near the Golden Temple, but not enough time. Spent the week visiting small organic farms around Punjab, really great!"  Since he is on a group study, he is limited on what he can personally choose to do.

I see that your playoff game was moved to tomorrow evening...We were supposed to get something wintry that would stick, but so far just a little sleet and mostly showers...The wall, if built, is going to be expensive.

Punjab has very low temperatures during these months but yes no ice, that's found further up north in Himachal and Kashmir. If your nephew finds time he must visit Amritsar to see the Golden Temple and the Indo-Pak border at wagah.

We didn't get too much ice as predicted today thankfully ... not sure about tomorrow!

Your weather was on our news last night! And it's cold, that's for sure. As for walls, I don't know anything about them, but I do know the size of ALL of our US borders is quite huge. And then there are those things called airplanes and water craft vessels, just for starters, that don't care about walls. I think we need to assess the entire situation in a detailed manner.

A turban might feel pretty good out in this sleet storm...

Stay in and safe, Taps...

TAPS

Heavy ice has been an on-again-off-again-on-again thing here, and both my LSW and I are wearing special cleats to prevent falling (she fell very badly last week!)...

I don't like it either when the rain falls as ice pellets and it seems that hardly anyone knows how to drive in it, including me. But Wiley is amazing. Sadly though when I think of ice I think of illegal drugs that destroy and kill.

I expect folk will just climb over the wall Taps. Remember the one in East Germany.

Or burrow under it.or go around it, or fly over it.
