Re: Lanetay

It is good to hope, but not to nag.  I know you wouldn't do that.

Re: ouch but he sounds like a tough guy and handsome too

He is both of those.  When he finally gets out of the service, I do want to encourage him in going back to college.  He completed two great years with wonderful grades at Central Florida University and has whatever it takes to be whatever he wants to be.  But first he has to deal with a tour of duty in the Middle East with US Army Airborne Div (paratroopers) after the New Year.

Re: anibanerjee

That is why I encourage him.  He does not need a grandma trying to talk him out of something that he has made up his mind that he wants to do.  And, he is a great instructor for those under him.

there isn't a thing one can do except pray for him. I have no understanding of beating up each other or why but at least it isn't fighting animals like cock fighting, dog fighting or the bulls.

A very handsome young man, but he doesn't look like a choir boy! And women can rarely understand male combativeness - it's in the genes, folks! 'Culture' can't extinguish millions of years of evolutionary developments entirely...

Looking at the photo, I never would have guessed...Will he be the next big UFC fighter one day?

Those sweetie-face boys who look so harmless can be

the fiercest of competitors. I can't quite understand the male urge to engage in hand-to-hand fighting just for the fun of it.

He is a handsome one. No, I would not think him to be paricipating so successfuly in that sport that by his sweet picture. I'll bet you are proud of him.

He is a handsome young man. My son, George's Eric, was stationed at Ft. Bragg. It is a good place to be stationed but I am like you I would hate to see them beat up on one another. You and I would not fit there.
