I'd take those spare blossoms and float them in a big wide bowl of water.

Makes me a little melancholy, you pulling out the sweet peas, when I can hardly get them to grow at all! But my morning glories have spread their leaves and are reaching around the railings with their tendrils... flowers any day now!

Re: Annicita

Only one good thing A. I am filling the freezers with raspberries and strawberries which he would have been after.

Re:

Secretly I think he is under the thumb Kabu. There again not many would have succumbed to his ways. He has his good points, but he knows he mustn't push too hard.

Re:

Yes you could have them free Justi. No he is a bit of a pain, but he thinks he is a member of the family.

Re:Naut.

I could find out if anyone really wanted to know Naut. The poem is the definition of what we call love making, idealistically.

Re: Pat

I do remember you saying how your Mother gathered the bounty from her garden. In those days it was really necessary. I suppose it is getting to know the right conditions that will assist the plants, they want to grow.

Re: Wiley

Because in don't particularly like it Bro. If I gave up the growing I would feel I would have to move . Hobsons choice.

ChiffChaff

Why not take a rest and stop all the growing and just write the poetry and take life easier Bro.

Trying to solicit business can be very difficult...A very reflective poem you have there.

How nice to be the guru of growing things, and to have you

share your knowledge with us here. I think you and my mother would have a great day just walking through the garden and sharing your encyclopedic knowledge of seeds, startings, when to cut, and how to defend against pests... She, like you, had a green thumb and could set things growing with a wave of her hand - or so it seemed to a kid who kept trying to get out of the lessons.

A beautful flower, though I have no idea what kind it is...And another interesting if somewhat enigmatic poem...

What a beautiful flower, well on both these posts the flowers are so beautiful. I wish you were near us I would have fresh flowers every day in every room. I love the poem, really nice. i am glad you are a very nice person, your helper would not last with me until the water got hot on high burner.

Archie can be a totaly pain in the rear end and he seems to be so cunning. Just when you have had enough of him he jumps in and does a heap of work. Cunning as a fox.

that's not nice if you have an agreement for him to keep taking off and leaving you to do all the work...
