Oh, I find it enchanting.....and could decorate it like you describe with plants and color.  I would love to be in there during a storm!  I'm curious about the rest of the place; the large door looks like it would lead into more living space that is built into the side of the cliff - not sure about that part of the home!!

Maybe it would be a nice retirement home for a landscaper who's

sick and tired of mowing, trimming, mulching, etc...

My first thought regarding atmosphere was many plants, hanging ones and a 'fern wall,' and then lots of bright and ethnic fabrics and comfortable, simple furniture. I'd arrange so that water could be released from the pool to make an occasional waterfall.

Not for me...I am a collector and gardener...My first thought because I am naughty was don't pee in that pool. Anyone below will see the color instantly.

I guess it could be a good place to bring people you wanted to interrogate and then feed in bits and pieces to the fishies.
