well we live in snake country, poisonous and non.  i have learned to tell the difference, but all snakes will bite and although it may not be poisonous, it hurts to be bit by anything.  but anyway " hello grumpy."

Do be careful Kabu, I always wear gloves handling the bird feeders, I think a snake might be more perilous, after chomping up mice etc . Well swallowing etc. I would want a heavy duty glove to warrant handling a snake. No I am not being fussy.

I don't think I'd have picked up one with that kind of a pattern - looks

a lot like a rattlesnake - except of course for the rattles.

I would have been a little hesitant to hold that snake. Yesterday on my trail run, I was

dive bombed repeatedly by some birds. Apparently, I was too close to their nest.

I'm hoping the wildflowers will bloom along the parkway this year love.

Once in awhile, I come across a snake on The Trail. I am not sure what kind they are, though. I did not know that Ontario had a snake of its own so to speak.

Cute! They're actually Canadian mini-pythons...

I'm not keen on snakes, but I don't hate them.  This one is beautiful.  Glad you enjoyed your walk and your birdsong and your wildlife.
