I use those little, screamy things for mice too...mostly to warn them away because of Bandit, my kitty, who is an adept hunter. If you rolled your eyes at me, I'd roll mine back at you...and we could have an eye-rolling contest. We could put it up on Facebook and start a new fad!

You are still busy gardening I read here. Good for you. Dahlia's and bean poles? You'll be busy. The mice? I commend you for taking care of pestilence - It would make me shiver thinking about it even but, someones got to do it. and as far as you just staring and rolling your eyes. I may find it peculiar...maybe concerned; but I'd sit with you a while and see if your words would come and your eyes would settle.

Your gardening ambitions wear me out just reading about them. Oh, my.
I do enjoy your poetry, the way it sidles and swings ideas into new lights.

Re: Wiley
Arthur read it out to me from the paper, he said the new program has more security, It might be worth having on a new machine. Windows 8 was very poor. Those mice alarms are alright for your mice with sensitive hearing our wear ear muffs. Glad you can trace your forebears Bro. Suppose you don't know the name of the pub.

Re: Have you tried hanging baskets?
No of course not Ciel they would not hold enough compost and as you say it would be too easy for the birds. I know some commercial units use growing bags suspended and trickle fed with nutriments. We are the Hilly Billies.

Have you tried hanging baskets?
Keeps the berries out of reach of bandid mice, and provides more growing space, too! And, of course, makes it easier for the birds to reach them without risk of cat-erference.

That's a lot of plants. I would imagine you sell some veggies. That seems like an
awful lot to put in your freezer.

Monday, May 25, 2015 We will all lose our memories eventually. I’ve lost mine already I was thinking about this. Will we still be with Bloogit I mean Blogit . I notice that Windows Ten will be assessable to those with Windows as a free download. Where did you get that from Bro?? I believe though that this concession only lasts for one year and there will be no going back to an earlier version. Gardening notes. Computer notes should have been at the top of the last subject Bro. Archie has been busy putting in the runner bean canes he said I need to have at least 200 bean plants. Archie manages your grow op does he Bro.? He has sticks for 80 or so in his neighbour's garden he cultivates then garden for the old folks who live there. Archie is a kind old soul what? We are on tenterhooks for a week or so in case there is a late frost. The dahlias were becoming too large to keep in the greenhouse and other tender plants will have to take a chance. Last year the mice crept in and bit hundreds of stalks off the strawberry plants leaving the immature fruit to shrivel. I use silent mouse alarms that only they hear screeching. So as I do not want too many I have planted about sixty in pots and raised them off the ground. I don't like poisoning the mice so I use traps baited with cheese, they do not know what hits them. I do not have to tell Arthur as he does not like to kill a Queen wasp. A couple of little field mice come out and feed with the birds, but they do no harm. Eye eye. Neato poetry I know it is a bad habit and I should be ashamed Although I am human and cannot be blamed for exploiting such a physical bombardment of delightful surprises onto the victim and present a burst of hilarious mischief with a straight face . Of course if you are the sort person who can trace your forebears back to those who were straight lace(I trace my forebears back to an Irish Pub) you might even now think, half the world is mad but then most of our experiences have or have been had by association with our families or like minded peers from whom we accumulate our view on happiness or fears as the occasion befits, so do not ever feel distressed if someone approaches you before being addressed just remember it might be me just treating you to a surprise. Now what will you say , when I do not speak but just look at you and keep rolling my eyes?. |

I've always loved hilarious mischief. I guess I'll never really grow up. I'll just be an old kid that has no memory. I do hope that I will still get fresh garden produce though.
