Ciel

Magical pictures! And yes, rather different from our southern Ontario woods, that I am often wandering with my doggie! Here, once you're off the trails, you find yourself in 'bush'...

And of course, the trails are where I feel you walking with me!

Re: Kabu,

I have yet to see truly ancient forest here, though many of the trees in Gisburn are quite old.  There are some places where passage looks challenging.  And nettles are very, very unfriendly!

Re: CCT,

Yes, they really are!  Different kinds of trees, different balance of them altogether, too. Compare American Eastern Woodlands to Pacific Northwest rain forest, and Muir Woods in northern California and the pine woods in the southern US...  What I've seen here in England, there are a lot more beech trees in the mix than anywhere in the US. You also have the wonderful Holm oak!  I'm loving your woods!

My mind follows you along, and I catch a glimpse of one of North Camelot Faeries sitting on my left shoulder. he too is enjoying the beauty...different to here. more trails and ancient walk ways. less unfriendly undergrowth.

I am curious to see where this goes.

Are woods that different Ciel? I don't  know all I remember as a boy is being in a wood and not knowing which way to go to get out of it again. You see with new eyes which is brill.
