Can you unplug or turn off the ringer on the phone at night?

And then turn it on at a reasonable hour?  I think it would irk a lot less if that call had not been way too early!

** "So basically this post is about the fact that after years and years of bad workmanship and independent attitudes, I am just plain sick of todays workmen. There is no pride anymore in keeping to one's word or doing the best one can."    You sound like Son #1.  He has a grouch about that.  And when he gets going on it....

I know that if my sleep is interrupted severely, I often end up carrying it with me throughout the day.

I love the Aussies. No two alike, and yet there's a streak of something

indefinable that forms the national character. Something like stubbornness, something like right-mindedness, a wild imagination and in what they find funny. It's twisted in a good way - tough & tender, protecting the weak and vulnerable, ready to take on the giants... That's about as close as I can get. Your gutter guys sound like a bunch of entitled millennials who are working only for the paycheck and the spending of it, with no interest in the work itself...

well that was plain stupid on that guy's part...why not ask what your duties are everyday?

yes today's workmen lack a sense of ethics...being there when they say they will and doing the job at the time as well as finishing on time

Kabuiepie-:)~

That is an amazing building and story of the con workman, it would be sad if he got away with that scam while other men worked for their living.Love you.

That is quite the building. Unfortunately the dedication is gone. For many anyway.

Kabu

What a feat! Especially considering the shapes on that thing - up and down those steep roofs, and probably balancing on top of each for a minute or two just for effect...
