tell your gnome to look for my garden as it floats by and if its not to painful with all the stickers in his hands to haul it in. maybe i should be praying for gnomes to show up and help me out here. just a thought.

Grey tape.
Press the sticky side over your thorn-afflicted hands, then peel it off, and see how many little stickers go with it. It is especially handy for those tiny spines of some cactus plants.

A real gem, this one....and a lot to chew on if one hasn't already. I find prayer very comforting and centering, using it as a way of staying true to myself ....which is probably why I especially loved this line:it will probably give life more meaning.

Douglas Adams, in "The Hitchhiker's Guide" says it's forty-two. I haven't come up with a better answer. Good on you for trimming up the roses, thorns and all. Your personal gnome looks very competent and valuable. ☺
