Wow.  I will not even try to suggest anything because I know nothing.  But, I will follow your progress and keep you in my prayers.

Re: Pat,

The surgery and recovery for each eye will require a couple of months, during which I can't fly at all. The eye doc here knows three surgeons in Washington he can recommend for the job, as it is a very limited field, and this is also where my insurance is.  I might be able to transfer the whole business to the associated health care in Colorado, but he knows no one there he can recommend, so that is just an unknown.

I would have Mr. Graysome on my pillow but one makes compramises with their berloved so it is the bottom of the bed for him...so enjoy your feline friend. I am happy for your finds but so sorry about the eye problems and the insecure future this brings for you.hoping it can wait until after your UK trip.

Wow, that was a great find, and it's awfully nice to have a purring little feline in bed! But I'm very sorry about your eye problems and the disturbing consequences...

Re: CCT,

Ninja is the last of the cats that we had in the old homestead, the others have all wandered off to Where Cats Go.  Violetta and Magick, the two oldest, have passed over the past year, and Mojo who wandered in and out for the past several years had to make a trip to the vet where it was discovered he was chipped... maybe slightly cracked, too.  The chip, however, revealed he had another family and had been missing from them for 3 years, while making himself free with our accomodations. So he returned to them, and now Ninja who was only slightly younger than the two eldest, remains.

Masks would be a good idea, against spores more than dust.  Everything reeks of mildew and mold!

A. It may not take the full six months to recover and 2) you'll

have your 2/3 finished thing to get you started with a bang once you can see clearly. Can you not recover in Co. Springs - your eye doc may be able to refer you to someone for the follow-up etc..

I agree with Annicita, and remember - everything happens for a reason. Maybe there is something in Seattle that needs you there.

Good news finding the novel. Yes it is tough when one's sight is in danger, not something to be neglected. Is that a new cat or was she just hovering in the background sort of second in waiting. Be careful dust is really nasty at times always wear a mask if you are

delving into dusty places. Hope things can be sorted.

Oh that sucks that you have to have the surgery but the good is that there is a surgery that can fix the problem.  Feel better soon.
