Re: Kabu

Oh, okay.  I didn't think about sports.  LOL.  I'll remember that for my Canadian friends.

I agree with all of the comments, especially Vermont. Well, maybe CCT's lap dancer not so much...

I have NEVER been bored EVER at one of your blogs. You are a great blogit friend ...I love reading of your family past and present...of your youth and your parents and other realtions. I love the recipes you share, your posety and now your Haiku...Whatever you write I will read as long as we are all here!

ps. "The leafs are the Toronto Maple Leafs Ice Hockey team and they should do very well but manage to bomb out every year. AND they are our Naut.s favorite team,

There are always different possibilities when it comes to changing what you actually write about. See what works best for you. And I've never heard of anyone suggesting to anyone else the reading of '200-500' books on any one topic! That seems a bit excessive . . .

I look forward to reading about your past experiences. I like to bring up things that happened before I started blogging.

Re: Annicita

LOL.  I like that, "Who made you an expert anyway?" mentality.

Re: Hmmmm....

Not changing my "moniker".  Last time I changed (from PERPLEXITIES to TAPS' Take) no one could find me.  I still get someone asking now and then, "What happened to PERPLEXITIES?"

do what makes your heart sing...who cares what the experts say?  who says they are experts anyways?

Hmmmm....

Will your moniker remain all UPPER CASE?

I like the idea of re-inventing. Growing.

Maybe we can finally decide what we'll be when we grow up. :)

I suppose you could give it a try Taps. I am always slipping in old poems fussed up a bit.

Sometimes I think what am I doing, I could be sleeping, or lying in a drunken stupor.

Perhaps you could describe different feelings, start with a lap dancer, that should be easy.

Whatever you may think others may think of your homey reports,

I experience it as a kind of visit with a favorite neighbor--keeping in touch, sharing the little things going on, the thoughts and feelings, and always, your wisdom about this and that... Your blogs never bore me, never.

TAPS

I've reinvented myself several times in my life.....but the last few years have felt like I've been in the a lake that has been constantly turning over and over so I feel rather cloudy and muddy all the time of late and have stayed away trying to get clear....so I find myself somewhat in the opposite position...wanting to journal to try to find solid strands again, anchor myself a little.  Never boring....that's for sure!!

TAPS

I think it's a delightful and interesting project! I'm looking forward to the new TAPS, and I'm sure I'll enjoy her as much as the current one - and that won't change...

Re: Justi

Good to see you here again.  I've not been too faithful either and I think we have been missing each other by not checking in at the same time.

TAPS

Such a delightful idea. I am looking forward to this. I am so bored with me I could hide away.
