- Go to AC/DC...
That was great, I found it very funny. Especially the part about Vermont01 being a very
talented writer. Through constructive criticism from Blogits many skilled writers and
some elbow grease on my part, those words could be lived up to in time.

AC/DC is one of my favorite bands as well, and they have been around for a loooong time! However, believe it or not, there were ( and are ) far worse bands out there as far as the 'drug culture' is concerned, especially some of that 'rap' nonsense! AC/DC is tame by comparison . . .

That was some good parenting there...I do like the band, although I cannot say that I would ever go see them in concert. There are acts that I would wait for the chance to see.

For me, AC/DC are terms current in electricity, and some other activities, LOL...The Band? Probably heard them at one time or another, but briefly and not knowingly - I probably switched stations...

I think you behaved like a good mother, I don't think a lot of people realize they will suffer from tinnitus later in life through listening to loud music, Thats is what the hearing aid specialist told me. He added I have it as proof through listening to it as I have driven to work. Go loud man.

I have to be in the right mood to enjoy groups like AC/DC - I grew up
with the big band sound, and a bit of the old-style jazzy blues. I can remember when rock & roll was new - there were parents in print moaning & groaning the devil's music was going to ruin the morals of a whole generation. As for the greatest things about Australia - I'd think AC/DC was only one of many greats, beginning with the wonders of the place itself, and the way its people turned a castaway island into a force to be reckoned with. And of course Kabu and her Tom Ugly story...

Gosh LP's! It was 1980, I was 9 and REO Speedwagon's album was on my Christmas list. My parents would not buy it for me for the title alone: Hi Infidelity. I never did buy the album. I had a few AC/DC tapes, though!
