Re: CCT,

I'll bet if such a production was done up to today's technical standards, a few of those superior kids would also be heading for the hills.

The hail could be considered a really hard pruning, I guess.  The roots aren't damaged, though maybe they need a bit of leaf to catch the sunlight, to keep going.  Good luck with yours!

Re: Annicita, thanks!

He is so easy to give encouragement to! He is the very opposite of those sullen, rebellious kids we hear so much about.  He is such fun on a road trip, too, always excited by what is outside the car, never vanishing inside a book or video thing. Okay, well, there is always, always the notebook he writes down the games systems he has been inventing since he was a teen.

Re: Kabu,

Maybe someday... Maybe they can share a bill with Cirque du Soleil!

Ciel

Troupe sounds like a fun event

How things change Ciel . I expect the kids would laugh if it was broadcast today.

I am sure young  folk will like to watch what they will believe to be the naivety of their forebears . Different times different aspects. I have planted my hail torn plants out

we shall see what happens , I think they will as you suggest produce new shoots..

Charlie's forming of a troupe sounds like a wonderful idea...

And the War of the Worlds thing is cool, too - if I remember correctly that big scare is the incident behind the law that radio & TV stations have to take a break every 15 minutes to identify themselves so people won't get panicked over a fictional drama.

Re: Pat,

I heard about the slide, but I don't think it was very near here, nor are we situated in the way of hillsides, so I think we are okay.

Worried about you for a bit when I heard of the landslide out there

in your neck of the woods. Unheard of stuff keeps happening every day, it seems. Hope all is well with you & yours. :)
