cct

you are right about the cost of gardening....especially flowers, my first love.  now i must think about eating.

i use to pray that i would never get hardened by age, for a while i thought it was working, but now i just put an effort to trying to be nice, and i do not beat myself up if i fail.

i liked the poem, perhaps dreams are left dreams.

A lot goes into gardening. I find it very fascinating to read about...Seeing Ms. Wolfy Dunn and Uncle Albert has made my week.

No flowers here yet this cold spring(?), but I thought I might plant some milkweed later, to attract monarch butterflies...

We're so sorry . . . Uncle Albert . . . but we haven't done a bloody thing all day!  And you've got to stop browsing those catalogues if you can't control your spending habits! Too many plants and flowers means much too much work as well! No wonder you're getting grumpy . . .

I love flowers but I just don't want to take the time to tend to them

Re: PAT

Well I only go by statistics Pat, and it feels nice to be grumpy, though it shouldn't.

I don't think one can go overboard on flowers.  There are never to many of them for me.

I did not know that 70 ws the magic age when a nice guy turns grump.

I just thought the thought of being seventy could start us on a slump.
