What can I say Pat we have had one of the mildest winter's for donkey's years. Once the Thames used to freeze over and a fair was held on there. I think a lot of it is a whim of nature, not helped by pollution etc. It was not so clever when everyone had a smokey coal fire, we do not get fog like I once remember. Of course it is bound to get worse by the fact of the increase in the human race.

We are right now in the middle of the storm supposed to hit New Brunswick tomorow with 40cm of snow for them and I don't know how much for us.

Pat

Here's my prophecy, and I know it will come true: We will never run out of people prophesying stuff...And after this record cold winter I could do with a record hot summer...

I wonder if we humans will ever reach a consensus on what is going on in the world when it comes to climate change.

Living in it, it is easy to mistake weather for climate

and the better information delivery gets, the more disasters we hear of, and have the sense that there are actually more of them.  I don't know if there are... I do know that global warming can bring long, intense winters in some places while it creates deserts in others. I do know that the planet fluctuates itself, too, over the eons of time. But I also believe that human activity is a significant factor in flucking it over right now.  I not only believe it because of the patterns I see, but because science points straight at it, too.
