Re: Re: Ciel

The entire thing is edible you know (the plant, not the snow bird)…leaves, flowers, stems, seeds, and all. Nasturtiums  is a spicy green. Add the leaves and flowers to any green salad, stuff the blossoms with an herb cream cheese, or chop them and add to pastas for a delicious addition to any meal.  If you get snowbound and run out of fresh salad makings, go after it.  LOL

Re: TAPS,

Silly nasturshallums, never even considered blooming last summer when they were outside!

I knew you and Kabu would specially like the little snow bird!

I love the little snow bird.
I also love the nasturtiums growing inside.  I never thought about growing them inside in the winter.  For me they were always an outside garden plant.

Re: Kabu,

The little birdies are designed for this, and so I figure they are okay with it. I am sure they know how to take care of themselves! And all the seeds we give them makes it easier, I'm sure.

I hope the cold passes through soon, and you get some warmth back in the yard!

Re: CCT,

I've heard they taste peppery, but I have not tried them.

The skies are amazing, I think it has to do with this location just below the mountains, what they call The Front Range, on the west, and the open plains to the east. You'd like them, it's pretty much flat all the way to TAPS' house.

The ceiling and most of the walls that will be painted, are painted.  There needs some detail work and another section of ceiling to be done. Then... the floor will need some attention.

Oh yes, flowers, let's have flowers!

It is snowing outside right now.

I worry about little birdie feet sitting in the snow but they seem to do well. It was too cold for any of my family to even visit today...Right now it is 30- outside and it warmed up to 19- at the warmest.

Really sweet Ciel, do you eat your nasturtiums? Can't say I have ever fancied them, we seem to get a lot of black fly on them here. Your skies are something else, worth getting up for.How is the painting going?

Love the sunrise/sunset photos, and the cat's eye view of the squirrel. Nice to think about bright flowers and spring coming in 10 weeks.
