Dear Ciel,

Thank you for your kind visit and comment to me.  I am glad you have a new teapot to enjoy!

being a Dr. Who fan from way way way back I can really appreciate your joy in that magic teapot.

I looked up an image of the Dr. Who TARDIS teapot and then made Son #1 come in and look at it while i read your description to him.  He said, "Oh my goodness."  He'd never seen one before either.  LOL

Re: Pat,

Have you ever seen a ThinkGeek catalog?  Tardis teapots and other marvelous things are found there.

Glad you got your mojo back, for Christmas-- It all sounds like the perfect kind of Christmas day!

Re: CCT,

Sounds like you will be well-fed for weeks to come, and ready to garden, warm about the neck and shoulders, and possibly well-bathed, too.  (Pepper?)

I see nothing from Kabu since Christmas Eve... Maybe the snows have cut their power in N.Camelot.

Oh dear Ciel I cannot hardly remember what I had.

It is in a heap in the passage, well there was that packet of sweet pea seeds

and a little trowel and fork. Janey Archie's wife sent me a home made hamper

it has polythene over the top and I can see a Christmas pudding in there.

The relatives couldn't come because they have the nasty bug going around,

so I have several creamy boxes of cakes. Fortunately they are frozen.

Enough cheese to last a month as I don't eat it very often.

Some suspicious looking shampoo and body wash with pepper.

Bottles of wine which I do not drink at the moment.

A scarf, an extra gift of two packets of nuts, which Archie gave me

as his F.I.l brought them for the parrot and Fred does not like that sort of nut.

Well you did ask. I wonder if Kabu is alright?

A Tardis teapot? It must have been fun for the gift giver, shopping for it.

And the overcoat fit the bill, too. Sounds like Santa really was keeping a list. My favorite gift was having some of my kids over, although I did have to give my Air Force grandson a farewell hug at the end of the day, it was wonderful to see my kids and just hang around the house.

A thousand pardons for my abbreviation faux pas . . .

Re: JimmyA,

Not a fan... but Doctor Who--never 'Dr.!--has been flitting around my universe for quite a few years now.

I remember the TARDIS. But why was it given to you? Are you a huge, self-proclaimed Dr. Who fan? Either way it sounds intriguing. And you're right . . . material gifts don't really matter as much anymore as we age. My wife being by my side at Christmas time is the only gift I need, or want . . .

That sounds like a cool gift there.
