Re: CCT,
Starting with the cute fluffies, I think everyone will be fine with them. I like snakes, and admire the beauty of spiders... but honestly, they do give me the creeps. When I come upon one unexpectedly, I make a noise I can make or imitate at no other time. I likewise can admire, but gladly keep my distance from poisonous snakes.

Perhaps I am inquisitive but it must take a lot of effort to tend to the needs of so many different species, I don't mind spiders as long as they do not bite too deeply and are not poisonous. I can't quite hack snakes, but they serve a purpose I suppose. I am sure your photos will be discreet and it would take a lot of trail searching, to find such an opportunity .

Re: TAPS,
I have the theory that any animal confined in cage or tank in my house, sooner or later will get out. So I consider that before letting them in, in the first place. That was the rule when my kids wanted things like tarantulas and (shudder) scorpions.

Though I am very interested in all of those things, I desire for my home to be free from them. I watch every Nature program on PBS and love watching them, but it gives me the willies to think about living with them.
