Re: Re: Re: CCT,Ciel

I like this new word.  I will tiggle my geraniums, not overwater, and take their pictures from time to time, so they feel important.  Thanks!

Re: Re: CCT,Ciel

Probably dialect derived from tig. Which you may have played as a young un. Tig meaning to touch gently. So to tiggle you just handle your plants carefully do not over water, a killer for geraniuims. Just frost free of course. A lot of work only worth it if they are exceptional ones. I just bung mine in a greenhouse that is  above freezing  if I keep any.

Re: JimmyA,

I like to interact with any wildlife that comes hopping, flying, or galumphing up my back stairs!

Tiggle...?  What is this "tiggle?"

So cute those little paw marks in the snow...The way it feels up here today we aren't far off a bit of the white stuff ourselves. Love the Geraniums and your family of animals. Isn't it lovely to give them some help.

Yes, sometimes the snow can look spectacular in certain areas, at certain times of the day ( or night ), especially under moonlight. And isn't it fun to interact with the "wildlife?" Well, with the squirrels anyway . . .

Idealy tiggle your geraniums over the Winter and take cuttings in the spring. My old aunt used to keep hers in the window and they were six feet tall ,well nearly, all she fed them on was weak tea, well I never had a good cup there and the mice walked around on crutches they were so weak with hunger.

I wonder when we in Maryland will get snow.

I love your photos, and your wildlife on your porch.  And, the color of that geranium is magnificent.

Re: Pat,

I will try to find some older photos among my many flash drives, that I think you'll like: leaves like lanterns strung through the bushes, possibly by the Little People... and tracks, always fascinating!

Love the footprint photos. Don't often get to see those.

Nice light angles, too. Bright leaves seem to generate light.  :)
