It sounds absolutely wonderful.  I think I'll go back and read that menu again.

Re: Adnohr,

They are just way too tasty!  And they make great dunkers in coffee or hot chocolate!

Love gingerbread men, and the mention of them brought back a slew of memories from way back when....

Re: Kabu,

Now I'm waiting for the day the temp drops below the lowest setting on the thermostat, and the heat comes on... something under 55F will do it, I think.  I'm being stubborn, not firing that up any sooner than I have to.  Sweaters, thick socks... the lovely shawl my elder daughter sent me... anything but a higher utility bill!

how nice for you and it sounds like a delicious feat. I am so happy for you when I see the pictures and read your posts of at last you are comfy and cosy in your own little house.

Re: CCT,

I felt older at 30 than I do now.  Unfortunately, my body feels pretty much up to date.

Re: Pat,

And evewn now, the sun is still bright and the wind is blowing great cold gusts... seems so strange to actually have the deck doors closed!

Re: Naut,

If I baked baked goods, I would eat baked goods, and while they would be good, I would put back on a number of lbs I have taken off, and that would be sad.

It was a great occasion indeed!

Sounds nice Ciel, I am glad it turned into a happy occasion. I was trying to remember when I felt like I was sixty, I believe it was when I was 26, no kidding.

Ciel

It clearly was a great occasion, and the food not only sounds great, I 'm sure it tasted fantastic as well. I admire you for sticking with the tradition of charcoal - I've long since surrendered to the gods of convenience and use gas. The whole thing looks very impressive and high-tech, but I do know that nothing can really beat charcoal...And Charlie bakes, eh? A man of courage, LOL. While I cook, and sometimes even with reasonably pleasant results, I'm scared of baking - wouldn't touch it, LOL...

Yup! That one's definitely a keeper. Nice weather, too.
