Well what a lucky woman, some men won't take their wives with them when they visit a mistress. Some men would leave you at the dump and tell you to tidy it up. Some men like a nagging woman, so you are lucky to have a man who likes a sweet tempered little Angel.

Well, I hope you're not getting too dressed up for the occasion! And at least you don't have to make any reservations! Just remember: some of those "cute" bears don't like claim-jumpers! Look, but don't touch . . .

There's a big landfill in St. Louis that's become a really big issue...

Somehow deep underground a fire got started, smoke leaks out and makes the whole area smell horrible - a stench that has nearby residents suing the county. Worse, there was some nuclear waste buried on the site - it was considered a safe distance away from the regular waste when it was put there 20-30 years ago. Now they're digging trenches to keep the fire from getting to it. There are birds, small critters there, in spite of the fire.

We only seem to have raccoons, 'possums, deer, and squirrels.  Haven't seen any bears around here, though there are some black bears in MO.

Kabu

Yeah, and they're such interesting places! We have one not too far away from here, and I thought I'd start an archeological dig there...

I remember going to the dump to watch the animals when I was a kid! Ah, those were the days and yet you still get to enjoy them! You are lucky indeed! LOL! Fun post to read, too! sam

It is nice to drive out there with the fall colors.

Well...I guess it is better than in a zoo. At least the animals are not caged at the dump. Maybe have Wiley put on some extra after-shave before heading out that way next time.
