Re: Adnohr,

Yes, that's the one!  I discovered several book-creating systems connected with the various photo-hosting sites.  MyPublisher turns out a good product, better than some I tried. They are pricey for resale, and since that's what I do, I wait until they have a good sale on, so I can put prices on them that people will pay.  Funny, someone will pay $100 for a nice print, but balk at more than $30 or so for 20-30 or more pages of nice prints.

Re: Adnohr,

...but not a great merchandiser...

I just ordered two copies of a new book, though, another MyPublisher one, featuring my betta portraits, to add to the western geology ones, the critters, and I forget what all...

Re: JimmyA,

The donuts were the fried cake kind, not baked/glazed ones. They were lighter than the standard cake donuts, too.  And sweet!

Yes - the one of the road is awesome. But they all are a joy for the eye. I think my favorite is the one you call 'Looking back'. I'm a sucker for clouds and mountains and trees.Have you ever used your photos for postcards, or greeting cards? You're an amazing photographer!

You just love going up and down that mountain, don't ya? And donuts that call for a recipe that can only be made at 14,000 feet? Hmmm . . . I'd love to try them!

Ciel

More fabulous pics! The ones you call 'End of the line' made my feet tingle, probably a sensation I would have if I were standing there looking down into the abyss...

Re: CCT,

Oh yes, a couple of rocks came home with me.  It's a National Forest, so you can take rocks home, so long as you don't take all of them.

And if you are very sweet to Kabu, I am sure she will share the link I just gave her.

Re: Pat,

We were talking about that very thing--how it is a 15 minute drive to the entrance booth here, compated to the 50 mile drive to get from Oly to the entrance arch of Mt Rainier NP.

Such very different mountains they are, from there!

Re: Adnohr,

I think my favorite is the portrait of the Highway.

And yes, when I'm at the dog park, or see some great dogs and their people, it's you and Naut!

Must be nice to be so near a treasured vacation site you can

do an "instant replay." I'd be jealous if I were made that way.

Sounds like you all had a great time. I'll be back in to check the pictures later.
