That's true. When one of those storms passes over, shut everything down immediately, or else risk losing vital info from your computer! And this "buried books" topic reminds me of one of those "if you were on a desert island and could only bring the albums of three groups or artists, who would you bring?" a question nearly impossible to answer! There are just too many wonderful choices, just like with the books . . .

What I would suggest instead of a trunk is a large bunker for a time capsul (a very large bunker).

it seems like we are getting a lot more rain then we have in the past two summers, I am not use to rain in the summer.

We've had sudden summer thunderstorms - off and on around here.

Lightning out of the one cloud in the clear blue zapped  something and our power went out and then right back on. I had my 'puter in sleep mode instead of off, and it took it some time and a re-boot to get all the little icons lined up and the internet lights blinking again. I need to get in the habit of shutting it down when I'm not sitting here.

Your garden looks fresh and cool and green, but I imagine you're sweltering there, too. Time for lemonade and sun hats.

Red: your previous post - I agree with your selection, but fear you'll need a HUGE hole for the size of the trunk you would eventually bury there. Beautiful garden, and we had a storm here yesterday too. No complaints here. It broke up the heat wave.

That IS a pretty garden!  It seems the storms are there to help you escape the internet for a time

I hate it when the computer needs to be put down with the rain, but it is always nice to have you back with us.
