Poor Fellow

What a thing to be remembered for!

I was surprised that you had an earthquake and then went right back to class! If that happened here, it would be pandemonium

Probably a good guy if one could get to know him. I thought you were going to say he sat on a drawing pin the usual at our school if one stood up.

Pat

LOL! To me the biggest surprise is that Walter lived in Alaska, logging and fishing for a decade, and managed to steer clear of 'temples of sin'...

temple of sin...sounds like something out of the 19th Century....LOL...I agree with you, he is still that shy kid that sat in the corner, never quite fir in....probably married that girl because she too was shy and awful innocent. Another great read and I look forward to the other Wlt. character.

Re: adnohr - "temples of sin"

I always thought that was just a dodge because he's still the shy kid who sticks to the corner, even 50 years later.

I was okay wih him until he started the 'Temples of Sin' thingie. After all, most of us have done weird things in moments of distraction too, although a fork in pocket isn't one of of mine. Teacher was a thoughtful person.

It's good to be remembered for something, I suppose...
