I chose to have children while my sister did not! I think my life has been enriched by doing this, too! sam

Re: Naut,

You are referring to the cultural homogenizing of the planet, as the values and goods of the most dominant cultures over-run the less?

Of course I fully share your sentiments. Having said that, I'm afraid the virtually universal decline of the indigenous populations we see in all Western countries will probably continue, although the rate of decline my begin to slow at some point. The reasons are very complex and multi-faceted, and I won't even begin to adress any of them here...

Great Post love. The Children are of course our future and I cannot understand cuts to education cosys and raising College and University fees so that ordinary folk are excluded.

I had a relative who decided not to have children because of the cost...when we others became Grandmothers she admitted that she had made a mistake. The cost of raising a child was nothing to not having a grandchild...i had nothing to day to her. We had done the hard work, we deserved our Grandbabies.

I said to my father once,' if I had not been born, I would have nothing to worry about.' He said 'don't talk so bloody silly.'
