Amazing story and the type that I like to hear and read. It shows the ability of some to take their circumstance to make better life for self and help others and keep a legacy going. It is expecially wonderful when the two with similiar histories complement other in their lives. Great Post.

Another good one! And an amazing coincidence that the descendants of these old adversaries should meet and marry. Of course, if we go back far enough, you and I probably have the same g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-grandmother as well, and who knows who she was caving up with..

This is a fascinating series!

I once did an editing job for an elder gentleman who spent his life-long career in Washington State's juvenile corrections.  He was writing up the history of the juvenile corrections system in Washington. It turned out to be a most interesting job!
