I love the color as well Kabu. Down here we have very few of the flying blood suckers, or county has a spraying system that takes care of most of the little buggers.

I can't some how associate mosquitoes with Canada, anyway we rarely see one here, but I would buy some suitable cloth resistant insect clothing and wear a veil like bee keepers do. Sadly you have spent your allowance on fancy shoes. I can feel myself in that kind of clothing lovely and cool with my old shoes. Kabu you could have a netted tunnel like I use I am , well Archie  is putting a small one up for we uns I'll show a picture when it is finished, of course one would have to take the net off in winter it would not stand a heavy snowfall.

Sometimes, when I head into the woods, I apply something called 'Skin-so-soft' to ward off mosquitoes. It's made by Avon, and it actually works quite well. What's more, it's giving me this beautiful skin, making me the envy of all the ladies in the neighbourhood! The only problem is that I'm beginning to attract their husbands...

Peonies (especially pink ones) are my favorite flower....I give my mom bulbs for them whenever I can....she loves them as well...

I saw a mosquito in my bathroom that was huge....1.5 inches at least....not one I want sucking on my veins!

I don't think 'Bugger Off' is what I bought but it gets the point across. LOL Love your red peonie, good to see you having fun outside love.

I am so sorry that the mosquitoes are so bad there. Don't try to do more than you are able. That peony is superb, I love those things.
