It sounds like a good time. It is cool here as well 51 at 10 AM and even colder yesterday. Our little town, that has been swallowed up by the sprawling bigger city that now covers all of the county, has its founders day festival in the first week of June, your post today reminded me of how special these get-to-gethers can be...I hope you have a wonderful time.

Sounds like a lot of fun, but I do hope it warms up for the occasion! This morning, when I took my doggie for our walk, it was 5C (41F), although it was sunny. It would have been a beautiful, warm morning in February...

I remember my mom saying that about wearing white, but I believe her date was Easter to begin, and Labor Day to stop. Fortunately my jeans could be worn all year round without making a fashion faux-pas. Those kind of community events are fun. Good for you to get out and enjoy it! Hoping the weather improves!!
