You're making me hungry!

This was supposed to be a lazy Sunday - now I'm craving tasty treats, and will likely spend the rest of the morning in the kitchen!

Unfortunately, bakery scones are on my "bad" list and I

can only look at them at the coffee shop and sigh. Did you know Bisquick makes a gluten free version? Half the size and twice the price of regular Bisquick, but it makes a good coating for oven-baked chicken and other things I used to use the original for.

Oh, dear Ciel I don't like marmalade, I don't know why. I like brown sauce on butter and cherry jam and cream scones. Lemon Marmalade at a pinch I guess you gals all used to chew baccy.

Ciel

I love marmelade, and these biscuits of yours sound great - if only I baked, LOL! So I'll have to confine myself to marmelade om my toast, though I will use it for cooking occasionally, as in the carrot recipe I posted recently...

Re: Adnohr,

Dang, it's like a yawn...! I gave away the orange marmelade biscuit/scones to the 86 yr old Frenchman who owns the fencing salle, but I still have ingredients for more.  But the maple syrup is all run out...  Probably just as well.

And now, reading your post first thing in the early morning, I am craving biscuits for breakfast. My grandma used to whip them up - called them tea biscuits - delicious with butter, then a little warm Canadian Maple Syrup poured all over...YUM!
