Kabu you must remember you are not as young as you used to be. I know it is annoying but one has to learn to adjust.  When I was your age I could dig a garden over and stand on my head. Now I can only stand on my head.

So glad to have you back! Sounds like a wonderful way to get over the jet lag. There's nothing as therapeutic as playing in the dirt! Welcome back!

Kabu

MMrs. Sun put in a long flower border in the vegertable garden. I noticed two new flats of petunias out there. And, she planted impatiens in containers. At a restaurant parking lot they are losing their leaves to powdery mildew. But hers and so far a man up the main road in the ground look alright love. Powdery mildew's a problem in this heavily polluted region. However, I first noticed it when filters were placed on a factory's smokestacks in 1978. Moisture release in the air? Mmmm... BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Dear one there is nothing like gardening. My flowers are not so

great. Roses are looking good, Iris were beautiful but gone now. What I am enjoying is the herb garden and the vegetables. We both have worked it. It blessed me to know you were at it again, you love it so.

I can imagine the comfort of being at home doing what you enjoy. Trips are fun and fine but no place like home. Ants are plentiful now in my area.

Kabu

I guess a gardener's work is never done, like a woman's, LOL. And as a woman gardener, the load is doubled! It's a good think you enjoy it, and of course the results are spectacular...

We have mosquitoes here, too, but they're not like the vampire version

that lives up north. Plus, which, we have purple martins. Lots of people set big birdhouses for them at the top of a 15-20 foot pole, as they like the open area and high nests. They eat thousands of mosquitoes, come out around sunset and really sweep the sky for them. Do you have that bird in Camelot?

Mosquitos can be such a hassle. My area has been fortunate thus far this year...It is nice to read again how things are going with your garden.
