I know they say that imitation is the highest form of flattery, but that's taking things WAY too far!

Sort of makes you wonder how many other stories she may have "borrowed" over the years

Ciel is of course correct - an idea cannot (and should not) be protected. However, if your story finds itself in that collection in recognizable form, if I were you I'd go to war! I detest plagiarists, thieves of the lowest order...

It's true, you can't copywrite an idea, but still, there are courtesies to consider...
