Re: Rumor

Absolutely.  I have plans to move but they will take some time and effort to get going and it's so much easier to sit in the sun...

Re: C_C_T

Great, I have always wanted to summon elephants with my warbling   It's not, but the more optimistically we can approach life the brighter it seems to be

Re: Ciel

Thank you.  I actually find blank verse much much harder - I find myself rhyming by accident.  I don't think I am matured enough as a writer to manage such a big medium

Now that is a fine call to action so to speak! And, I liked how it kept building as it went along which made me feel like I should actually do something, too! BRAVO! sam

lionreign...

sometimes that restless feeling inside us telling us to find a new place so we can grow caan be a challenge to follow through on...we like the "status quo", but once we strike out, new worlds await...

You could be the king of the jungle. I liked this poem. Very optimistic, It looks easy ,but I know it is not always so.

Brilliant as always, lionreign.  But please tell me you're not leaving us, are you??!!

I like the style of this...

The rhymes aren't forced, nor the poem forced to fit them, and the message is up-beat, determined, and refreshing.  Do you ever write blank verse, going just for the rhythms of the words you join up, and the meaning?  I find sometimes that blank and free verse allows for much more emotional impact.
