Wow, sounds like a large scale operation. He is really a homecat!! Now I feel better about entertaining by eating out.  My little kitchen is too small to entertain with anyway!!

Oh yes, entertaining is very exhausting. I try to do it as little as possible.

I dont have all those things for my cat and when people come over she just runs for my room and stays there until they are gone.

Fortunately for my wife and me, our cats have their own room upstairs, and when visitors come a callin', they all run and hide anyway! Except for Riki of course ( the Queen ). She sticks around just to see who dared to interupt her quality time with us!

Hilarious story - well told. Reminded me of my son's experience with

his little rescue dog. Caylee he calls her. Very needy in the attention department, needs lots of exercise. Never mind the work, the TV show, she wants to go out!!! I could just see your Little Lord G pitching his best fit as you rearranged his kingdom. :)

Upsetting Mr. G. for a visitor? No wonder he's upset! I would have told the visitor, "Look, we have a cat, and he may claw your ankles and pee on your pants - that's the way it is around here. If you can't handle such minor inconveniences, well, we're sorry, but it might be best for you to find someone esle to visit..."

This is so funny because I know exactly what you had to go through.  Makes a person wonder if company is worth it.  LOL

We might as well admit it - we belong to our pets. It really isn't the other way around. And this post is hilarious - I can so picture Mr. G. pulling that off!

I so agree that entertaining can be exhausting! So much work for so little of a visit I have found! sam
