Oh, yeah! I can see Mr. Graysome going crazy at the sight of these birds! Always nice to read good news concerning either you or Wiley! Enjoy your snow drifts!

How wonderful that you do this. We took the idea and started feeding as well. Now we have a heard of around 30 quail, 20 or so morning doves, and countless little guys. We got home so late last night after driving in the snow all day. When I finally got up we had another round of snow to shovel. Not so much as you, thank the Lord, but 14 or so inches. After this drive I am ready for spring.

Hello Kabu
I am trying to keep connected, but aww, your place seems so cold. We too are having an extended cold spell.... Doesn't look like it'll get over until March end. Good to know that sir Wiley is keeping well. Regards to you both.

Better than bitter frosts Kabu that nice blanket is keeping your plants warm.I don't know if it is the  same all over ,but the salt on the roads is killng off the vegetation and a salt resistant plant is taking over it has little white flowers and grows on beeches.

Awwww.  Reminds me of the couple of years we had a big turkey roaming around and visiting with everyone.  I love the picture and caption.

Delighted to hear that Wiley is in prime condition!

And I used to have a couple of turkeys... I hope they are hens and lay eggs for you!  Turkey eggs are very good!

I had to stop and wait for 29 wild turkeys to cross the road. They were in no hurry and acted as though they owned the road.

Kabu

I haven't seen too many of those guys around here lately, other than in the freezer at the supermarket...

Your niece is very witty! The best you can do is stay warm! Nice to read that Wiley is doing well and you are happy as a result!  sam

I feel so sorry for the birds and critters when snow covers their food.

Those wild turkeys have a lot of cousins living down this way, too. Deer, too.

Great caption from your niece! There are quite a few wild turkeys around this year - one of my friends has a slew of them visiting his place too.
