Never tried it Taps, I think our pumpkins are probably insipid versions too watery to be flavoursome.Well when I have tried to grow melons they taste like our pumpkins. I think it needs more sunshine and a lady with a sunny disposition.

I can smell it! I never do much with the pumpkin pulp, but I roast the seeds; on a flat sheet, drizzled with liquefied butter, salt, sugar and a little cayenne, and into the oven until they're slightly brown and caramelized (ya gotta watch 'em!)...

There is absolutely nothing like the aroma of freshly-cooked and baked food! A very good use of those jack-o-lanterns! Aah, I can smell those pecans now . . .

Most delicious makeover I ever heard of! Already did our Thankgsgiving here in Canada, but now you've made me hungry for PUMPKIN PIE all over again!! Seeing that I'm thankful everyday, guess there's no harm in it?
