I sort of loathe them and would not want that many around me ever.  None in my apartment survive, although I feel a little bad about it, maybe.

I have a fear of many kinds of insects and animals and such so you could put this one right up at the top of my list !!!!   Great photos, though, from a distance!!

I saw a picture of this earlier and how utterly weird! I usually don't mind spiders, and I refuse to kill them around my house which drives everyone nuts, but this is a little over the edge for me! sam

I'd hate to run my face into one of those in the dark.

Usually I like watching a spider spin its web, but this is tooooo much!

I admire spiders, the way they engineer the webs

and get breakfast to come to them. But when they come in herds and flocks and turn a bush into a ball of filament, not so much.

Kabu

Wonderful pictures! And I love spiders - they're fascinating animals! They've been around for a very long tme, and they're also extremely useful. If i weren't for spiders, we'd suffocate in insects...

eeew  that doesn't look like a nice thing to me - I have no issue with spiders as such, but I'm glad to not see that much of them
