That was something else.  I admire everyone for keeping so quiet; I hope I could have. Glad it turned out well.

The suspense must have been terrible---at least it ended well!

Kabuiepie!!!!!!!

That was a scary time love. I'm so happy I telephoned them and told them I was gonna cut off their Gyro meat, if they didn't wheel out the stepsLOL.

I was once stuck in a plane whose wheels got jammed and would not open before landing and we circled and circled. Many of the lady passengers started shrieking, and others prayed with all they had. It was too scary

Re: yes I was, once I was through customs, had been to the girls room

and picked up the luggage, then I was real happy with our Aussie pilot.

I'm with the Aussie pilot, Kabu - even though it was a bit of a hassle. Were you not proud of him? Except, his letting the passengers in on it would have perhaps been wiser...

When I visited my Peace Corps son in Paraguay, the plane took me to

Ascuncion but took my luggage on to elsewhere. It finally was returned.

It's like a scene out of a movie! I would be so upset if I had to sit on a plane without any information for hour upon hour! But, you came through it just fine so all's well that ends well! sam

To go through something like that in this day and age, it's easy to fear the worst. I'm glad it was a "workers strike" and not some part of a "military strike!" Sounds like somewhat of a nightmare!

Madam portly though I may be, gosh I just thought of something.Although you gave a graphic description of your earlier experience. You did not answer one question, I do not particularly want to make a journey to examine the toilets. Arthur once told me of a trip back from an exotic holiday,

Very interesting.  Makes me remember a few wierdie incidents of my own that prompt me to use airlines for emergencies trips only.

I love your travel stories. I never go anywhere, and that is fine, but I enjoy yours.

I would not want to have to repeat all of that either.

All you need to do is just let your inner Kabu rule the keyboard.

She's in touch with what's what, and how to phrase it so none of us can resist. And, of course, answer C C's questions...
