How beautiful, there is really nothing more fascinating and beautiful to me than white lace designs .  I am like you, with admiration for those who have the skill to create such designs.

What beautiful lace.  She really has a knack for it, and must have much patience.

Kabu

I am with you sweetheart. This is magically beautiful work; however, I can't and don't care to do it. I can take a sheet of pattern board or brown paper for that matter, sketch  a finished product and draw each and every pattern piece, cut them both from paper and fabric to perfection in mathmatical measurements. I can write the specifications for another to do all the work but honey I ain't gonna hem it or sew on buttons. I hate the fragile, slow process of needle work of any kind. You and I would work well together but would anything ever be finished? Call sis.

Kabu

I agree! I don't think I'd make a good seamstress either...

Your Sis does beautiful needlework, but I am like you.  I can't even do latchhook.

Very beuatiful, Kabu. We are alike in sisters - mine was so good at anything like that - making lace, quilts, clothes. I'm like you - even gave up on the crowbar.

Kabu

My Aunt Edith crotched. Uncle Cal liked his booze. Once she made a liquor cover; She made a gray poodle. The day she gave it to us we found that her building had a fire the day before. The hallway was scorched. It smelled of smoke love.  BC-A, Bill’s R®st

She is rather accomplished at tatting! My daughter wants to take up sewing when she moves back in with me in April! I told her to start simple and work her way up! That reminds me to get the machine and dust off the cob webs! lol The tatting is very beautiful! sam

Absolutely exquisite

Why do I take a chance and try to spell things I'm not sure of?  Whatever!  Your lace products are stunning. I wouldn't even begin to find such beauty in a store.

These are beautiful Kabu, I remember that my mother crocheted and I have a few of her doilies and wonder if you know the difference between the two arts.

It is lovely Kabu it will always be sought after because who has the patience to sit and work these fabulous patterns. Not me or thee. I think my sister has dabbled in the art I shall have to have a look when I next visit.

It's beautiful. I especially love the bookmarks.

My aunt Ferna used to do tatting, which is a kind of lace-making. I tried it, but ended up with nothing but knots. :)
