The red rose looks really good on such a day...Before we know it, it will be spring.

WELL Kabu don't get it too warm I have them blooming in a cool greenhouse and please put it in a larger pot with a nice bit of compost, if you look carefully you will probably see that the rose is made of several stems. The rose fairies are watching you.

Kabu

A nice dinner at one of Ottawa's fine restaurants is always good for the soul... I like the Clair de Lune in the By Market area...

There's a TV show called "Judge Mathis" that comes on

around eleven each morning. Like other petty court programs, Judge Mathis' litigants here are obnoxious, stupid or just plain sneaky. Scam contractors populate the hallways, old ladies with grudges haul them in by their ears to get a taste of justice.

It's so disappointing when our own revert to the lowest form of ingratitude. How nice it would be to have a remote that would just turn the "mean" off and turn on the sweet.

So you're right to take the day off. Buy some shoes. Laugh your head off in the greeting card aisle. Kiss your sweetheart and let the rest float away.

I wanted to say something else, but the thought of the roses just occupied my mind, and I forgot what to really say but... hope you have (having) your great time

I am with you on life being too short to not be cheerful! I can get obsessed with some things, like my credit score! lol I like the idea of minature roses inside and I think I shall give it a whirl! I wanted to hold down things because I will be buying a house this year and moving is such a pain, but what the heck, a couple of roses can't hurt a thing! I wish you a great outing today and wonderful lunch! I like window shopping so I can find things I like, then keep an eye on the prices until I am ready to make them mine! sam

Darling lady you two have as much fun as you can stand. Well that is in public and decency. I hope you just have a great time. I can smell roses just thinking of them. Love to you both. Does that mean a new pair of shoes coming up?

I just bought two red rose bushes and planted them in our yard so when they start blooming, I will have a beautiful arrangement on my dining room table!  I knew we had some things in common.  Enjoy your trip to the city today and your roses, of course!
