There are times when you know it is right to break the rules.  I have done this twice  with hitchikers in desperate situations, and was glad I did and was on the recieving end once.  It was less likely an elderly disoriented person would attack, although one can't be too thoughtful these days for dangerous cons.  I would have removed the scraper.

Of course you gave him a lift to the door! Being as how you two are, I really couldn't see you leaving him there, or letting him out halfway home. Isn't it funny how, after having helped someone, we tend to say 'Thank You for letting me be there when needed' ?

Such a lovely thing to do. Yes most of us would have been in the same frame of mind as you. All things are not as they may appear or should be. But thank God it was as you suspected, a man in need you met his need, and it turned out beautifully. God bless the two of you in all you do.

Wasn't it good to do and give from the heart? If the mind had won, the poor man would have had a long walk. God Bless you.

I love the way you think -- always working the scenario in your head.

Poor old guy could have been afraid you were a couple of dangerous characters, too. You are lovely people, you and Wiley.

Well that was kind of you Kabu . I think I would have bundled him into a taxi and paid the fare. I am a bit cruel at times.

Kabu & Wiley...

Give yourself a pat on the back for helping someone in need!

Kabuiepie-;)

You were brave love but we have such a little car I could have reached him easily and tossed him out. A great day and now we can cover that garden shed on the ground out back on that skid, and just leave it for assembly in the spring.
