It is a day I will never forget! I had the morning news on and I saw the second plane crash into the towers! It is a sad day in the history of my country! sam

How wonderful, Dear Kabu!
I was too stunned and fearful to do much other than try to figure out how to keep a precious one year old boy I was caring for safe. In those early hours, well, days even, we didn't know what was coming next or where it would hit..
Good post.

We were in Mexico when the 911 attack happened. Our neighbors came over to tell us because we didn't have cable TV. It was really confusing for us at first. We got our TV working, but in Mexico the news for USA wasn't as good. That was a sad day we should be remembering.

Kabu
I've been watching a few specials - filled with devastating images and sorrow filled faces.  Time to shift gears and do something fun.  Perhaps I'll head out to my garden....

I like the way you think.
The personal stories and memories by those involved have been all over the TV, on the radio, every minute of the day. It's beginning to get me down.

How symbolic of the human desire for life and beauty when faced with ugly, horrific killings.

I think that's the only way one can handle such a disaster...good idea, and very pretty, Kabu.
