Your current approach sounds best.  People can be so unpredictable; it seems best to go with the flow where other people are concerned.

Of course one can get away with things easier the older one becomes. So life is not such a strain on one's temperament. One is pleased to see a sunny day. Oh I won't go on. Carry on soldier.

I think that's a good way to live, too! I know what you mean about staying in a marriage when clearly it is over, I did a similar thing! What I like is that you never gave up on love and finally found true happiness. There are many people who search their entire lives and never find it! One thing you do know is that you never give up or give, perhaps concede a bit along the way but it makes the end all that more sweeter for me! sam

Dear sweet lady. You gave the best information you had because you loved these people, now your are reaping the best for yourself. God is so good that way. He loves you and you love others and life is so much better. God bless you sweet laday!

And this is so obvious, your love for all. It shows in all your posts. Of course we all think we know so much until we wake and find out how little we knew back when which only proves that even us old dogs can learn.

Kabu, a very wise woman is one that learns from all her experiences, it really has nothing to do with age.  You, can be very old, and keep repeating the same mistakes, over, and over.  You, my friend are very wise

It is amazing all that we learn as we move through life.

"Today is who I am" - more of us should adopt that attitude.  We may have been shaped, scarred, or moulded by our past but ultimately it's the choices we make in the present that define us.

You wouldn't know yourself today as the wise woman you are
if that sweet spirit hadn't always been there. You are made of stardust, part of the universe, and you have every right to celebrate your daily life.
