The weather here did the same thing, from blistering summer one day to cool, damp fall the next and for several more.

Well it all looks lovely Kabu I am sure next year your rockery will be twice the size and you and our Wiley will be bringing rocks home in the back of the car.

I can appreciate what you are say but they are beautiful nonetheless! I was outside today working in my gardens and you to put mine to shame! lol So enjoy, there are still nice days ahead! I haven't been out reading much the past few days because I have been house hunting! It's fun, but it's tiring! I haven't hired an agent yet because the funding for where I want to buy doesn't come through until November, so all this is leading to the fact that I was encouraged by your comment that all will be fine next summer, and I am buying into that for I hope I will be breaking ground in a yard that I own! So if you have a little prayer, I would appreciate it wholeheartedly because I want to have a nice place for my soldier son to bring his girlfriend when he comes to see me! By the way he should be out of Afghanistan by mid December, and mid January at the latest! He says it pretty calm over there and he only goes out on patrol every other day! I just want this thing over and him home safely! Thank you for your prayers for Christopher, it means a lot to me! Now, stay warm and safe cuz the weather can be a nasty thing after a storm! I just read where Texas is having a terrible time near the capital, Austin, nearly 500 home have burned to the ground, so utterly sad! sam

It's great to be able to step outside the door
and take a deep refreshing breath, instead of a blast from a furnace...

Very pretty  pictures Kabu...  and that is a mighty big pole!  loll   Sometimes I feel as if G-d in His infinite wisdom is always trying to teach us how fragile life is, how fleeting  outward  beauty can be...why else would He make the flowers' life so short ... ( or give me wrinkles  loll)   but on the other hand, the miracle of a seed shows us that though delicate, life in its ultimate exuberance  can exist in the humblest tinniest of places... Your garden is such an inspiring sight my friend...  xoxoxo
