We can find cheer in writing even in our frustration, I suppose.

Cheers, Benzhina!
I played in clay once, and fired a few things, mostly crooked goblets and wierd wonderful fishtank decor.  Hands do so love to get in there and touch and shape and do!

I love the idea!
Keep me posted, Abuelita!  I still have money we raised ... and I haven't forgotten the run.  There are so many runs this summer (marathons, triathlons, decathlons, lots of "ons...") I have to time it well.

Re: fired up
Spent a hot Arizona day, 108 maybe, outside in a garage firing clay.  It was at about 1, 850 degrees and I Had to fire quickly and then pull hot things out of the kiln to go home quickly.........as my friend lives sooooooooooooo far away on the other side of this valley. It was hot, but her air conditioning was set sooooo low, that I could not stay inside. Frigid.

I am a true desert snake and bask in this sun. I am doing  sooo much better now that I am working again.  LIke my 'sooooooooooooooooooooo s' ??

So, how are you?

Re: TAPS, I try to leave laughter in my path as it is good 4 me.
People all want to pray for me or over me or tell me long cancer stories and Although I know of their need to speak of it, I get no grocery shopping done, etc. for all the interruptions.

A Lady Gaga wig, worn just slightly askew, keeps them at bay and it makes their hands twitch to want to tell me or to move it where it should be, but they cannot and so, walk on. I walk as though I am the prettiest woman in the store, confident with ballet posture and it is all so funny to me........... thanks..........

I love the way you think and the way you respond to people.  LOL
Everyone needs a little shakeup of their way of thinking now and then.
I'm sure she was impressed by your attitude.
