Is that picture symbolic of the little woods you create? Loved it.

If I were Mrs. Mouse I would be very, very wary of grewsome Mr. Graysome.

The rain can wash the humidity out of the air.  Pizza parlour sounds smashing!!  Like your yard.

I like the sound of overweight fairies. Now they're the fairies to have around, not your princess types who are so delicate and perfect they put us all to shame. Give me an overweight, elderly fairy every time (they do elderly, do they?)

Kabu, I haven't read your previous post to this yet...
but I take it the Canadian govt. is on the prowl again looking for more $$...but I'm glad to see you fought back by getting out and enjoying the nature all around you, and especially the fairies - they will keep you on the straight and narrow....by the way, are our Canadian fairies bilingual?....

Now you have reminded me I need to fire up the mower! lol You have a big yard and although it is gorgeous, it does take work! I love the smell of fresh cut grass and your place must be so fragrant after a mowing! sam

Well, so that's where the storm went after it dropped in here...
I knew it wouldn't stay long, and it was cool for awhile afterward.  Daughter tells me the redbird family she'd been watching has returned, mom, dad and the chicks. So now they've got a flock of redbirds on the "south 40 acres." Almost as nice as a tribe of fairies.

Is that a tree peony Kabu they have that dreadful; habit of providing too heavy flower heads for the stalks. Do your fairies always flitter around in drag. Or have they been thrown out of the tavern? When you get older you might consider wearing elastic knee protectors they do take the strain when one is mowing, but don't leave them on afterwards. UA would demonstrate.

hmmmmmmmmmm  I think I could use some of that maple dew wine about now :-)  We have those impromptu storms all the time down here.  I must confess I do love them... the music of the rain within them... the wind, the thunder and the wonderful lightning illuminating the whole cahotic scene... Its just orgasmic!  Nature at its most passionate. Be well my friend    xoxoxo

Lovely and summery writing, Dear Kabu!
Those fairies sound content; don't tell Mr. Graysome though. I think he means well, is just a tough enforcer. Or tries to be....:)

Such a lovely post. Glad the wind stopped. I am so glad you two are so happy up there in the North Country. Be blessed...

Kabuiepie-;)
I don't mind if I'm the first to comment. Love those flowers in the picture, and your love for the robins and all is a joy to behold. Slow up drinkin' that Maple Dew Wine or I won't be gettin' anymore grass cutting out of you sugar.
