I think you could use a summer off of the travel, too! It has to be one tough trip! sam

Hmm, I'm a little late to ask if there's any leftovers....:)
If by chance there are any, you can Fedex them down the 401.....

Banana Splits and Cake and Scones....
I'm so hungry now!

Conditions in order to spend time with your family?  What's that all about?  Seems kinda harsh.

I would agree, it would be a lot of money to spend for airfare when it seems they will have very little time to spend with you, or worse, you may be rushing around to attend all those activities.  I honestly don't know how parents with multiple children (or even one) can manage all these extra activities.  It drains me just thinking about it.

I do not like that "conditions" thing at all.  Doesn't seem very respectful to someone that should be very special to him.  But, I'm sure I should mind my own business.

I spent part of the day at Borders...
They have books. And lattes. I found two vegetarian cookbooks, one for teens, and a copy of Vegetarian Times magazine, but when I got to my son's house, my granddaughter had gone somewhere... So I left them for her with a little note. I hope she likes them. No matter, I found my latte quite a treat, and spent some time watching people. Fascinating.

I love Paris in the Springtime (isn't that how the song goes?)  Oh dear Kabuski - it's wonderful to hear and talk and catch up but yes, I'm like you - I sometimes leave with a feeling that, "hmmm...well I guess I should make me an ice cream float" --- LOL because what else?  Ah, life is so different I find as I'm getting older.  It flip flops and goes too fast (moreso than I want, that is) Yes, it's different but, it's as delightful as we choose to make it...so, with that in mind, I love your blog note; seems like you have the right idea oh me Dear - and would like your recipe for scones,  - W-John is spoiled - LOL ~ xoxox Connie Elyse

Oh girl come down here and we would cook up a feast. I wanted to make your pumpkin scones and I let it get past and didn't copy the recipe. Keep those hands warm and out of the wet garden, it will grown without you. Love you guys....
