I don't mind coming in last to a great husband and a banana split. I am a reasonable person!!!

LOL - used to be my case, but not now. Grump doesn't complain...he just follows along!

Poor baby... That was my response to those kinds of complaints.
Or I'd say   maybe if you'd get off your butt and help around here, I'd have time to spoil you a little. Mama was always last, it's a law like gravity. Any mama who goes against that law gets a bad rep. Spoiled know-it-all teenagers who think having their own baby will show mama who's boss have to learn this truth the hard way...

Our sons tend to do that
with their mother but I think it is more ironic than with any real intent!

On Banana Splits, you reminded me of a mad TV programme when I was little. The theme song was covered by an equally insane band - The Dickies - a copy of which I have in beautiful yellow vinyl...perhaps it's me who needs a sanity check?

loll Kabu... in my house the phrase was " You guys treat me like a rag... use me and throw me away"  and it was my grandmama saying it when she got frustrated with all the demands we 4 sisters layed on her... poor grandmama, her wishes truly came last.  I wish she were still with me, I would put her always first because she was and is always first in my heart.  Did I ever tell her that?  probably not :-(  but I thank you Kabu for making me think of her tonight :-)  xoxoxo

Kabuiepie-;)
Yeah well Graysome is #1 here and he knows it too. He would have come with us but he hates bananas he told me. "Good" says I, "stay home in your cage on the deck in the rain 'cuz that's where she'll forget ya." LOL And so you did. roflmao

You are making me hungry for a banana split! It's been so long since I've had one! I do not have a favorite child, either! sam

I was always accused by my siblings of being my parents' favorite.  So, I just assumed they knew what they were talking about and assumed I was.  HAHAHAHA

I despise bananas Grandmummy, but I would love the ice cream over the top!  I hope you both enjoyed it!  When you return there is more of my story for you to read...
