I'm with Kabu...
but I suppose to keep the prospect of unemployment compensation alive, you can't quit or get fired for insubordination.  So that sucks thoroughly.  Too bad you can't let her fend for herself so that when next payroll rolls around she muck it up totally.  I am unemployed and it is no fun.

Big picture you are better off out of that place
Medium and now picture - take advice and explore avenues for compensation

Today picture - save the 'cide options for another day/week/month/year

Tell the colleague trying to learn that she can do exactly as she likes after June 30 at which time your care factor about that will be zero.

Mostly take care. These people are not worth your time  & energy methinks.

Your laid off but they are replacing you....that seems to be against
federal labor laws.  Why did they say they are laying you off?

go and tell the managers that since you are layed off for the end of the
month you refuse to do two jobs at once ...and how come you have to train the person to replace you if you are being layed off seems pretty rude to me.....i would kick something...take a day to look for another job...something. i can't understand some companies.
