Re: Oh yes, I'm legal, but that is a strange feeling!
Cheery Dearie,
I'm about to have to renew my Michigan Medical Marihuana card, for a second time. Each year it costs $100 to obtain and renew one's license, if they have been prescribed to be qualified to USE it, if that person is not totally disabled. (unable to become gainfully employed) For the disabled, it costs $25. Since my card is for her care-giver, and the prescription is Marilyn's, I am legally allowed to buy, possess, and/or grow up to a dozen plants, and possess up to 2 1/2 ounces, for her use, but I am supposed to remain as pure as Caesar's wife. I think that this is right, but some parts of this recently passed law are purposely left vague, I suspect in order to give law enforcement, wiggle room for clarification arrests and prosecutions. Clear as mud? Yeah, that's what I think.

believe it or not I joined the army post b.a. days to get the tuition money to attend law school to make more money than my cpa brother... it was 1990 and day one I told them I was gay and knew they HAD to let me out... they strung me along thru boot camp thinking i was an asset and would adjust... i cooperated and made it thru there and on to mos training as some kind of god awful mobile telephone repair woman... me and math/electronics do NOT get along... i kept insisting they let me out and finally a shrink sat down and talked with me... on my discharge papers it says that i'm bisexual and it was uncharacterized as I was in only 90 days!... there's ONE story! wonder how things are going these days with the new rules in the military... it's a well known fact that the marines are FULL of gay men! ask me if i care!... it's not like i haven't explored that path as a female living in Los Angeles.

I see my grandson in the midst of all that attitude.  I still have a bit of trouble figuring out how he got there.

In answer to your question at my blog,

  • Extra-virgin olive oil comes from virgin oil production only, contains no more than 0.8% acidity, and is judged to have a superior taste. Extra Virgin olive oil accounts for less than 10% of oil in many producing countries.  It is used on salads, added at the table to soups and stews and for dipping.

    I remember...
When I was in the Air Force (1965 -1968) I often hear, "travel the world, visit new lands, see strange people and kill them."  I, personally just kept the electricity on.  A military can't function if it isn't ready to do the dirtiest work of all.

Thanks for thinking of my son! And, Naut said it right all the way! My son has a trade and now his objective is to make a difference! I truly liked the one on Bin Laden! sam

    Guy
Graphic, shmaphic - this is a necessary attitude to have if you're a soldier! Don't become a soldier if the only reason you enlist is to learn a trade...
