Well you make me smile with the description you have of yourself...
Have you ever seen the film 'Pure Luck' ? It reminds me of your description. There is a lovely heiress who has gone missing. Only one man can find her, but two men are hired for the job. One is a detective, and the other is a man, who like the pretty heiress. is a bit of a clutz and guess who manages to find her, the detective or the fellow who has similar experiences to her? It's a fun movie if you haven't rented it before, it has Martin Short play the guy who is like the girl, and the detective is Danny Glover.
